Mayternity Through Time: Tudor England
It was dark. The sun had set a short while ago, but A single woman, remained awake. Her eyes were red and raw, but it was barely visible in the flickering candle light. She shouldn’t have let the candle burn so long.
She was in a small hovel, but she called it home. She didn’t even know the word ‘hovel’.
